Just received, these are the new styles, limited sizes available so come in or call us

Just launched last week, The Sydney Design Guide, (there is also a Melbourne guide), a great resource to all things design, read about new places and discover new talents, Ewan McEoin, and Vivian Stappmanns, have done a great job, and of course BOTI is in it, a great xmas present, here is a bit about it.
The Sydney design guide goes beyond the sun, sand and surf to introduce a metropolis that is home to a world- class creative community.
Conceived for the intrepid traveller and the curious local alike, this chunky little book takes readers straight to the action, featuring architecture and art tours, fashion and product walks and porfiles of the city’s most creative designers and studios, as well as unearthing the most stylish bars, restaurants and cafes across town.

The Walk-a-bout stool, by Gary Galego, a lightweight and robust, the stool serves its basic function within the context of the everyday.
The Walk-a-bout is a metaphor for movement, and encourages both a visual as well as physical interaction engaging the asymmetrical design.
As the viewers line of sight moves from one side of the stool to the other the design aims to give the impression that it is in continuous movement, as though it is taking a step, hence, walk-a-bout.

Ceramic plates, great for desert as a whole set or a couple for serving, (sold singular), will make a great set with the glass bottle and glasses (posted 3rd Dec.).

These candles make a great little present, orange, lemon, or sea fresh.

History by the Meter covers 2000 years of the history of mankind in succinct detail: from Jesus Christ to the internet! On the reverse are measurements, as normal.
Another ruler is a visual reference begins with late antiquity & ends with the modern period - full colour examples representing each period are depicted on one side, with movements & measurements on the reverse of a folding, wooden ruler.

We are currently hosting an exhibition of works that were created in response to our BOTI Brief #2, the exhibition is a part of Sydney Design 07, we invited 8 of our very talented local designers to be part of this,
Daniel Barbera, Matthew Conway, Gary Galego, Arthur Koutoulas, Keith Melbourne, Huseyin Sami, Eran Thomson, Lana Alsamir-Diamond
here is what it’s all about:
Through thick and thin, in sickness and in health till death do us part, just like the subject matter, “till death do us part” was once something that could apply to pieces people liked to surround themselves with, but this is becoming rare.
We want to bring that commitment back, we want people to buy a piece and love it more with every day that goes by.
Create a piece one can say I do to, again…Today…
If it is love at first sight, beauty on the inside, beauty on the outside, money or convenience all these are reasons to say i do, and there are plenty more, we would like to know what the reason is to say i do to your piece.
The results are exhibited in our window and on the floor for the next 2 weeks, regulare opening hours.

Coat rack by Sibylle Pfiffer for Pulpo is 1100mmx210mm

This chandelier, is a great example of simple japanese design, we love it, it comes in a small box in kit form, you can hang one, or it would look great in multiples in different hights you can make your own giant Chandelier.

We all know IT IS SO NOT, but that’s why we love this wall clock, that comes all the way from Canada, it looks like it’s come from a Ski lodge on Whistler.

Miranda of Bride and Woolfe, designs these beautiful pieces and finishes them by hand, they are now at BOTI in a few different colours and a couple more styles, great as wall hangings or mobiles.
